  11. I have a "no-name" internal modem that returns the following info:

  19. I6 = RC288DPi Rev 05BA

  21. Could someone explain the value of I3 (firmware). This is not what I expected.
  22. I expected something like "V1.000=CP39 VFC".

  24. Also, is all that binary data in I4 the equivalent of "RC288ACi"?

  26. What do I need to do to upgrade to V.34 ... or should I? This modem is
  27. working great and I can connect to my ISP at 26400 or 28800 all the time,
  28. and I don't seem to have any major disconnect problems.
