- I have a "no-name" internal modem that returns the following info:
-
- I0 = 28800
- I3 = CLP-03 940721
- I4 = a007880284C6002F
- bC60000000
- r1005111151012004
- r3000111170000000
- I6 = RC288DPi Rev 05BA
-
- Could someone explain the value of I3 (firmware). This is not what I expected.
- I expected something like "V1.000=CP39 VFC".
-
- Also, is all that binary data in I4 the equivalent of "RC288ACi"?
-
- What do I need to do to upgrade to V.34 ... or should I? This modem is
- working great and I can connect to my ISP at 26400 or 28800 all the time,
- and I don't seem to have any major disconnect problems.
